The Spirit Questors are proud to announce the success of two fundraising shows that they sponsored for Joylin!
The poetry reading session "Luna" took place January 9 at mag.net Katipunan and the Concert January 10 at 70s Bistro, in Quezon City. Project Director was Peachie Dioquino, assisted by Ryan Valera. Floor Director was Ivan Lobaton, assisted by Juno Olimpo. Ian Opena took charge of the reception and the registration counter, assisted by Angel Alcisto. Marvin Laddaran printed the tickets. Mae Pinero was co-emcee. And the rest of the Spirit Qustors helped sell the tickets.
Both events were able to raise a total of PhP25,550.00 (Twenty Five Thousand and Five Hundred and Fifty Pesos), which is now being used to build a small private area for Joylin and her mother Rodita in their existing place! Please note that Joylin and Rodita are presently sharing a small space with Joylin's married brother who has two small kids whose playful activities have sometimes bothered Joylin because of her condition.
Thank you to all who helped contribute make both of these events a success. The Spirit Questors are now planning to organize another fundraising event for Joylin. As soon as we have the details we will post it here.
